This is a website built during my internship with Lyman-Morse Technologies, it is currently pending public release. As such some details and information are left intentionally vague or unlisted, such as any vessel details, as well as URL and GitHub links.
It features a hybrid database which utilizes vector based DB methods to store critical settings and update indicators, as well as a traditional SQL dataset. This allows for effective live polling of the database, without costly and inefficient update checks directly to the SQL database itself. It also implements a connection to an AIS network with which we have an agreement for GPS data streaming. Paired with an OpenStreetMaps map API, this allows for a simple and elegant GPS display with various specific functionalities
